Club Atlético River Plate is a famous Argentine football club based in Buenos Aires. Founded in 1901, it is considered one of the biggest clubs in the country and has won numerous national and international titles, including the Copa Libertadores, the Argentine championship and the Supercopa Sudamericana. The club is also known for its rivalry with Boca Juniors, another major club from Buenos Aires. River Plate supporters are called "Millonarios" due to the club's rich history. Home matches are played at the Antonio Vespuci Liberti Stadium, known as "El Monumental".
